Dear WNC Neighbor and Valued Customer,
In the days following Hurricane Helene, we had to reduce our services to extremely limited emergency service calls due to lack of power, internet, cell service, and ability to navigate our area roads safely. Thankfully all our team members were safe and accounted for. We were fortunate here in Swannanoa to access our property and begin moving water out of the office. We also had to begin the process of getting communication back to our building with temporary internet solutions.
That first week following the storm we were also able to become one of the relief stations here in the community to assist neighbors and team members in getting necessary supplies, hot meals, and fresh water. We are so pleased to still be offering supplies and water to anyone in the community in need. So many of you reached out to check in with us and express your concern for our team members. As we are all striving to rebuild our beautiful Western North Carolina, it has been incredible to experience this united sense of community.
As we moved into the second week, we were able to increase our field crew numbers and services, and this improved as the week concluded. Last week, our regular internet services were restored, and we are so pleased to announce that we are operating again at our pre-storm capacity. We are so appreciative of your patience, understanding, and continued trust in Gentry Service Group. As we move forward together, please know that we are here for you – whether it is restoring comfort to your home or servicing any of your HVAC or electrical needs.
